Hi it’s Debbie DeGrote and welcome to the tip for today going to talk a little bit about paying the price for the goals that you have set you know I read a quote the other day by Michael Jordan and it said the most overlooked characteristic of leadership is that of sacrifice you know sometimes we think of leaders like Often it’s just someone who has mastered the principle of discipline and sacrifice because it does require sacrifice to be a top producer a top achiever in any field there’s work if there’s discipline sometimes your friends are out and you’re at the office sometimes you have to make those extra calls you don’t want to make you take one less day off so let’s face it when you have big goals there will be a price to pay now we don’t want you to pay the ultimate price That’s exactly why we we love and welcome the opportunity to take top producers into coaching and help them gain back some of that balance but I also think you have to be in reality as you set your goals your schedule needs to support the goals that you have set right your activities need to support the goals that you have said you can’t just sit in the corner and wish it to be true and there is going to be a price to pay and you have to determine what that price is you know when I launch my company the price I had to pay was I was literally working 18 hours a day 7 days a week I knew I had to pay now I want you to look at your actions each and every day and I want you to look at the amount of money that you want to earn are you acting like that person are you disciplined are you leading are you taking those steps that you need to take to achieve the goals and have the income that you want to have okay so discipline action leadership and looking at that price that you’re willing to pay to achieve the goals that you want to achieve right have a great day and I’ll talk to you soon.
